There are a lot of magical things about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter inside Universal Orlando but perhaps the most magical are some secret snacks more closely guarded than the sorcerer’s stone. Beware: some of the snacks must not be named and some can’t even be made or mentioned by team members.
Deathly Hallows Beer
Also known as The Beer That Must Not Be Named and The Triple, this layered beer is my adult beverage of choice in all of Universal. But be warned! You cannot consistently order this beer by any given name. The only sure fire way to do it is to ask for a layered beer with Strongbow Cider, Hogs Head Amber Ale, and Guiness, in that order.
Butterbeer Float
Get your sweet tooth ready because this one is sweet on sweet on sweet. This is a DIY secret treat. You won’t be able to walk into the Fountain of Fair Fortune or the Hogs Head and ask for this but if you don’t mind putting in just a touch of effort you won’t be sorry. Grab yourself a cold (not frozen) butterbeer at the hopping pot or the fountain of fair fortune and quickly make your way to Florian Fortescue’s for a butterbeer soft serve. Take a couple sips from your butterbeer to make room and then plop that ice cream right in.
Pumpkin Fizz
Okay so this one is not a secret, but I bet you haven’t heard of it! Exclusively served at the Three Broomsticks in the Hogsmeade side of the Wizarding world, this fizzy soda is like pumpkin pie in a glass. Its a little less sweet than its sister Pumpkin Juice and way less sweet than its cousin Butterbeer. Pairs perfectly with the shepherd’s pie!
